Always and Forever

Hiya Crafties!

I am back with a shaker card with a clean and simple touch.

You can see the card in action below :

When I had made the double slider flower card a couple days back ( you can check it here), I had diecut 2-3 pieces of the Floral Love sentiment dieset by Dress My Craft.

I made this card using one of the negative diecut of the flower.

I then stamped the gingham background by Kaisercraft with Blueprint Sketch distress oxide.

The sequins are Sea Blue by Dress My Craft.

The sentiment is fussy cut from the Hydrangea lawns motif sheet again by Dress My Craft.

Magical Unicorns in Love!

Hello Crafties!

Do you like Magic? Please say Yes! And if your answer is yes, then I am sure you must love Unicorns too! Yay! We have the same taste! πŸ˜„

So today I have a Magical Unicorn card for you.

You can see the card in action below :

It has not 1 but 2 unicorns.

The unicorns are fussy cut from ‘Dress My Craft’ Magical Unicorns motif sheet.

The background is done using various distress oxides with MFT cloud stencil.

There is a hidden slider behind the layer of clouds which makes the unicorn look like he is galloping across the clouds to his beloved! Aww! 😍

For the ‘love’ diecut, I partially diecut the Floral love sentiment dieset by ‘Dress My Craft’.

Finally I finished off the card with Warm Red sequins again by Dress My Craft.

Did you like this magical card?

Sending Loads of Love!

Hiya Crafties!

Whenever I see any new craft products, I am tempted to imagine their use in making interactive cards. I am that crazy about making them.

Today I have a card made with Dress My Craft ‘Love Floral Sentiment’ dieset. When I first laid my eyes on it, I knew I had to make a double slider card with it.

You can see the card in action below :

I had made a card with a similar technique. You can check it out here.

For the background I used distress oxides. I layered many layers of grass diecuts to give a 3d effect. I have used distress oxide on the grass too.

The clouds are from a MFT stamp set. I had to stick around 3 layers of diecut flowers to make the centre image sturdy.

I’ll be coming up with a video tutorial for this type of card soon.

The sentiment stamps are by Honeybee stamps.

Did you like the surprise in the card?

Do let me know in the comments below.

Hello Crafties,

I have a slimline card for today. This is the 1st time I made one. It measures approx 8.5 inches Γ— 3.5 inches.

I will be entering this card for MFT Camp Create: Sensational Sliders.

You can see the card in action below:

I used distress oxides to create the background for this card.

The stamped images are from the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set by MFT.

All the images in the set are pretty adorable.

I colored the images with alcohol markers.

Making interactive cards is fun and playing with them is evn more fun!

MFT Camp Create Day 3 and 5 : Spectacular Shakers and Glitzy Glitter

Hi Crafties!

For today’s MFT Camp Create I have combined 2 techniques from 2 days and created a single Spectacular Glitter card! πŸ˜‰

Entering it into MFT Camp Create Spectacular Shakers and Glitzy Glitter.

You can see a short video of the card in action below:

Today’s card is pretty simple. I just took a glitter cardstock and diecut the sentiment from it.

The sentiment dieset and the stamped images are by ‘MFT’.

On the back, I adhered the acetate, lined the back with foam tape and added plenty of sequins. The sequins are Warm Breeze by ‘Dress My Craft’.

Finally I stuck a white card panel of the same size to the shaker panel.

And my card is done.

MFT Camp Create Day 2: Remarkable Resist

Hello Crafties!

Today I have a card featuring the Emboss Resist technique. It entails heat embossing your stamp using a sticky ink and then spreading embossing powder on the inked image. After that you heat the image with a heat gun.

I will be linking this card to MFT Camp Create : Remarkable Resist

I used white embossing powder and the Framework background stamp by MFT for this card.

To create the resist, I used Mustard Seed and Salty Ocean distress oxides. The overlapping of the two created the green color. Isn’t that fantastic?

The 2 cute bears are from the Bitty Bears stamp set by MFT. I had them already colored and fussy cut during the Daily Marker 30 day Challenge.

You can check my other colored images on my instagram feed here.

Hope you like my card.

MFT Camp Create Day 1 – Wonderful Watercolor

Hey Crafties!

Today I am sharing a card made with ‘My Favorite Things’ products for their Camp Create Day 1 – Wonderful Watercolor.

Watercolor is such a fun medium. You never know what the end result will be like. It really teaches us to go with the flow.

For this card today, I took a white cardstock panel and gave it a wash of water on the lower right in a scalloped circle kind of motion.

Then I came back with a wash of different shades of green, one after the other. And then let the color flow on its own.

I also added some splatters.

And then foam mounted my cute giraffe from the ‘Safari Friend’ stamp set by MFT, which I had colored and fussy cut during the ‘Daily Marker 30 day Coloring Challenge’ held by Kathy.

You can check out all my colorings of different images on my insta here.

In addition, I adhered few leaf images from the set.

I also stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with black ink on the bottom.

I simply love this color combination. Do you?

Chalk Paint Cards

Hi Crafties!
This is my last project as a DT member for Itsy Bitsy 2019.
Let’s move on to today’s project…
I have several CAS cards for you today featuring Chalk Paints!
CAS stands for Clean and Simple cards. You can make all of these cards in a short time!
For the 1st card :
Step 1:
I used several colors of Chalk Paints. Do let me know in the comments below if you would like to know the names of each!
I used the paints with a flat brush in a swiping motion and then let them dry.
Step 2:
On this panel, I stamped the ‘Flowerful Gratitude’ stamp set with black ink.
Step 3:
Then I foam mounted the panel on a white card base and stamped a sentiment. I also rounded the corners for added interest. And my card is complete!
Now lets move to the next cards –
Both the cards are created from a single panel.
Step 1:
I did the wet on wet watercolor technique. It entails first giving a wash of water on the card panel and then coming in with the colour of your choice. I used Deep Sea Blue and Marsh Green chalk paints.
I let the colour flow on its own.
Step 2:
After drying the panel completely, I die cut the leaf from Fern forest dieset by Little Birdie.
Step 3:
You get two cards out of this. I adhered the negative panel on an A2 card base and stamped the sentiment.
I also created some splatters and added Little Birdie pearl drops.
Step 4:
I then swiped three stripes of chalk paint Marsh Green on a white card panel. And then glued the positive leaf diecut on it and stamped the sentiment.
*To match the colour of the diecut, I painted the borders of the card base with same Deep Sea Blue chalk paint*
Moving on to the last 2 cards.
Step 1:
I used the net stencil with Sailing Sky chalk paint on a white card base.
After I lifted the stencil, I immediately pressed the other side of it on another white card panel.
So you get 2 cards out of this one too!
Step 2:
I stamped the ‘Flowery wishes’ stamp on the stenciled image.
Step 3 :
After repeatedly stamping the sentiment, I glued the panel on a black A2 card base.
Step 4 :
I colored another white card panel with Charcoal chalk paint. And then diecut that panel twice with the same leaf die.
Step 5:
I adhered these 2 diecuts on the faded stenciled image panel. After stamping the sentiment and adding the pearl drops, both cards are complete.
I hope you liked my projects.

A Beautiful Tree!

Hi Crafties!

I have two projects for you today, both made using almost the same products.
Both the projects follow the theme of a beautiful tree to illustrate that beauty lies within! This is my DT post for Itsy Bitsy. You can find the post here.
Read on further to know how I made them….
Let’s begin the 1st project.
Step 1:
First I used the Flowering Tree die on white cardstock. This is to be used as a stencil.
Step 2:
I then sprayed Little Birdie Gold Alcohol Splash in Canary Gold using the above stencil on the green paper from the Chevron in Aquarelle paper pack by Little Birdie.
It looks like this:
Step 3:
I then created small drops on the tree using Little Birdie Pearl drops in various colors. ( Check out the colors listed at the bottom of the post ). You can create different sizes of drops by controlling the bottle. I also used the Snow White drops to highlight the image.
Step 4:
For the base, I used the cardboard from the box that my DT kit arrived in. I painted it with Deep Blue Sea chalk paint. On this I adhered the panel created above.
* I frayed the edges of the paper for added interest *
Step 5:
The next step was to diecut some grass and fence from the Victorian Lamp Post dieset. I glued these over the tree.
Step 6:
Finally I stamped some clouds from the Princess and Dragon stamp set and pasted it on the panel. I also stuck the sentiment sticker from the gift hamper that Itsy Bitsy had kindly sent all crafters for the New Year.
And my project is complete!
Now let’s move on to the next project:
Step 1:
I used the stencil that was already created for the above Project in the 1st step.
Step 2:
Next I trimmed a piece of Coco Brown polyester felt from the store and adhered it behind the stencil.
Step 3:
Using the Little Birdie Pearl drops in Mahogany, Tangelo Citrus and Black Satin was next.
Step 4:
Then I spread some Stone texture paste in Graphite Dust at the base of the tree with the help of a spatula. It gives the effect of rocks. The texture paste looks so pretty when it dries. It has a lovely shine to it.
And my project is complete!
Little Birdie Pearl Drops are so pretty to look at when they dry.Β
