Pea-ka-boo Holiday Wishes!

Hiya Crafties!

I love movement in my cards and hence I mostly end up making interactive cards!

Even though they require a bit of extra effort, they are surely worth it!

You can check out the card in action below:

This is a peekaboo interactive card which when you pull the strip, out pops a surprise!

I like to stretch my stamps. So I used the cute pea stamp from the Be Hap-pea stamp set and stamped repeatedly in the shape of a Christmas tree.

I watercolored the background. I love this color combination.

It was fun making this card and even more fun playing with it.

Out of this World!

Hi Crafties!

Today’s card is a fun interactive galaxy card I made with Lawn Fawn stamps!

You can see the interactive feature in the video below :

I used different distress oxides for the background.

I started by blending Lucky Clover distress oxide on the outside in a circular motion. Followed by Peacock blue distress oxide and then Tumbled Glass distress oxide in the middle.

Lastly I used a bit of Black Soot distress oxide on the outer most part. I splattered white acrylic paint on the final outcome.

The interactive feature was inspired by my favorite Jennifer Mcguire! You can find her tutorial here.

I stamped, colored and fussy cut the images from the Out of this World stamp set by Lawn fawn.

The moon revolves along with the planets. I had such fun making this card. Hope you like it too!

Peas Forgive Me

Hello Crafties!

I am really loving the Magic Picture Changer dieset by Lawn Fawn so much so that I use it to make every other card with it.😆

You can see a short video of the card below :

The Be Hap-Pea stamp set by Lawn fawn is another stamp set I can’t get enough of.

I made this card as all the earlier Magic Picture changer cards.

You can find them here , here & here .

For this card, I added an extra diecut circle and did some cloud stenciling with Tumbled glass distress oxide.

I also used the border-dies by Lawn Fawn on the base.

I also used the other small stamp images from the above stamp set on the base.

This cute stamp set makes a sorry card look cute too!

Who wouldn’t forgive after receiving it? 😉

Hello Crafties!

Today I have an interactive card featuring Lawn Fawn stamp set Be Hap-pea.

I created this card for LawnFawnatics Challenge #50 : Fun with food

You can see the video of the card below :

I have used the Magic Picture changer dieset from Lawn Fawn to create this interactive card!

On the front are some leaves from the same stamp set. I have used distress inks for the background.

The picture changes to cute little peas wishing a hap-pea birthday. So much fun, right?

The dieset is easy to assemble. The possibilities are endless when using this dieset.

E.T. Inspired Card!

Hello Crafties!

I have another movie inspired card for you!

Lawn Fawn stamps are so versatile, we can adjust them according to our requirements.

I used the ‘Bicycle built for you’ stamp set by Lawn Fawn.

I made the hood of the alien using the headgear image from the same stamp set. And the little alien is the doggy from that very set. 😉

Everything else I hand cut.

The background is done by blending different distress oxides.

The sentiment is from the Ahoy matey stamp set.

It is so much fun making cards inspired by movies.

Don’t Give Up!

Hello Crafties!

I have a galaxy card for today featuring Lawn Fawn stamps.

I made this card inspired by the movie ‘Gravity’.

Its all about how to never give up!

I created a galaxy background with different colors of distress oxides based on a tutorial by Jennifer Mcguire – my fav 😍

I used the ‘Out of this World’ stamp set for the cute little astronaut.

I had cut both moon and earth and colored all images with my inktense pencils!

I also adhered a black thread to depict the wire from which Sandra Bullock hangs onto (in the movie).

Finally added some little stars from the same stamp set & a handwritten sentiment. And my card was complete.

I do hope the message this card conveys ( to never give up ) stays with you always! ❤

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – Cute

Home Sweet Home!

Hi Crafties!

Lawn Fawn is having an awesome challenge going on.

Make a project inspired by a movie, song or book!

I instantly had the idea of making a card based on the movie ‘UP’.

I love this movie. It’s all about following your dreams. It is correctly defined by this awesome proverb –

Where your heart lies, there lies your treasure.

As always, I made an interactive card! I just can’t get enough of them. (I hope I never do.)

You can see the card in action below :

For this card, I started with a bigger panel.

I used the trio balloon stamp from ‘Bicycle built for you’ stamp set by Lawn Fawn, masking it several times to get this huge bunch of balloons.

For the house, I used the Happy Village stamp set. The clouds & birds are from the same stamp set.

I colored all images with my trusted inktense pencils.

The interactivity is based on magnets. One behind the bunch of balloons and other behind the panel.

I hid the sentiment too to create a spark of surprise.

I used the border-die from Lawn Fawn on the frame of the panel.

The background I made with distress oxides.

I hope this card gives you joy as much as I had making it.

Do let me know your thoughts in the comments.
