Happy Diwali and A Very Prosperous New Year!

Hi Crafties!

Wishing you a happy Diwali and a happy and prosperous new year!

A little gif (t) for the big occasion :

Sharing an interactive card today after ages! Feels so good to have made one.

This is a standing card and I gave it a festive feel using a diya – an eternal symbol of light!

You can see the card in action below:

Stamps are by Mudra called Diwali decor.

The foiled paper pack is Opulent by Dress my Craft. And I have used Hero arts ink cubes for inking the stamps.

I love the layered diya as it adds so much dimension and interest.

This card makes for a pretty home decor.

Work it Wednesday Simon Says Stamp August/September: Celebrate

You make me Smile!

Hello Crafties!

I have a pretty simple CAS one layer card for today.

It is dedicated to you – my crafties who make me smile with your appreciative compliments! ❤

To make this card, I have used the Concord and 9th Wreath turnabout stamp set.

I used Autumn colors for the stamps. The inks are by Hero arts.

The sentiment is from another Concord and 9th stamp set named Dahlia turnabout stamp set.

I finished off my card with different colored sparkling dotties.

Happy World Cardmaking Day!

Hi Crafties,

On account of World Cardmaking Day, I have a pastel colored shaker card for you today!

I have used the emboss resist technique to create the background.

I first heat embossed the Flora background stamp by Simon Says Stamp with white embossing powder.

I then ink blended various distress oxide inks to create this stunning effect.

The sentiment is from the Altenew stamp ‘Painted Greetings’.

Have you tried this technique before?

I have used distress inks for the ink blending.

The flower stamp set is by Gina K designs.

Did a bit of masking for this one.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

The grid stamp is by Craftyscrappers.

I finished off the card with ebony black Nuvo drops.

Hope you liked my video tutorial and the card too!
