You make me Smile!

Hello Crafties!

I have a pretty simple CAS one layer card for today.

It is dedicated to you – my crafties who make me smile with your appreciative compliments! ❤

To make this card, I have used the Concord and 9th Wreath turnabout stamp set.

I used Autumn colors for the stamps. The inks are by Hero arts.

The sentiment is from another Concord and 9th stamp set named Dahlia turnabout stamp set.

I finished off my card with different colored sparkling dotties.

Hello Crafties!

Drinking Coffee is a lot like love. You get addicted to the mere thought of it! ❤

So I decided to combine both of them to create my card today.

I used the Donuts & Treats stamp set by Itsy bitsy for the coffee cup.

I colored them with my Inktense pencils.

For the background I sploshed Candied Apple distress oxide with the help of an acetate sheet.

The sentiment is from the stamp set. I foam mounted the coffee cups and my card was done.

Krafty Wishes

Hi Crafties!

I love Kraft cardstock. But I don’t use it as much as I want to.

But today I have a kraft card for you.

I used the Honey bee stamps ‘Sending sentiment’ stamp set for this card.

The shadow effect is achieved using white pigment ink & distress oxide. Isn’t it awesome?

The snowflakes are from Jane’s doodles.

I also used the border-dies by Lawn Fawn.

You Are My Happy Card

Hi Crafties!

Today I am back with a simple card made using cutting-dies!

For this card, I used a green colored cardstock panel cut using a rectangle-die.

I had first dry embossed the panel using Craftreat ‘Stripes’ stencil and a Spellbinders embossing mat.

Then I ran this panel under the ‘You are my Happy’ cuttingdie by ‘Concord & 9th’.

I also separately used the same cutting die on a white cardstock.

And adhered the white diecut on the green panel using inlaid diecutting technique.

I watercolored another panel of watercolor cardstock with blue and offset it behind the main green panel.

I diecut the tree & cloud from the ‘In the city’ thin cuttingdie by ‘little birdie’.

The raindrops are the negative pieces from the white cardstock sentiment.

Finished it off with blue nuvo drops!

AAA Cards Challenge #124 – Imagine

A Simple Birthday Card

Hi everyone! Today is my very first post on cardmaking. I am so excited to start this journey of chronicling my cards. I have a simple card for today.

I used the Craftreat Mandala stencil.

First I took some white cardstock and diecut it with a rectangle-die.

Then placing the stencil in the left hand corner of the cardstock, I secured it with masking tape.

After that I took Faded jeans & Wild honey distress oxide and blended them with finger daubers.

I stamped the sentiment with same inks using stamps from Craftyscrappers and Little birdie stamp sets.

Then I adhered the panel on a slightly bigger pattern paper and mounted the whole panel on an A2 card base.
