Out of this World!

Hi Crafties!

Today’s card is a fun interactive galaxy card I made with Lawn Fawn stamps!

You can see the interactive feature in the video below :

I used different distress oxides for the background.

I started by blending Lucky Clover distress oxide on the outside in a circular motion. Followed by Peacock blue distress oxide and then Tumbled Glass distress oxide in the middle.

Lastly I used a bit of Black Soot distress oxide on the outer most part. I splattered white acrylic paint on the final outcome.

The interactive feature was inspired by my favorite Jennifer Mcguire! You can find her tutorial here.

I stamped, colored and fussy cut the images from the Out of this World stamp set by Lawn fawn.

The moon revolves along with the planets. I had such fun making this card. Hope you like it too!

Flowery Wishes

Hiya Crafties!

Heat embossing is such an integral part of card making. Be it heat embossing a sentiment, or a small image or a whole background! And it gives such beautiful effects!

For my card today, I heat embossed the entire background with Little birdie Gold embossing powder from Itsy bitsy.

The background stamp is by Simon Says Stamp named Flower Explosion. I love this stamp. It’s so pretty. And a must have for a coloring enthusiast.

Before embossing, I adhered a diecut circle of masking paper in the centre. This was so that I could add the sentiment in there.

The sentiment is by Craftyscrappers. I heat embossed it on black cardstock with white embossing powder.

I also added some green & gold paint splatters to bring everything together.

Lastly, I matted my panel with gold cardstock on an A2 card base.

And my card is done!!!

Tunnel Inside!

Hi Crafties!

Layers in cards are so much fun to make and also create so much interest.

Today I have a inside tunnel card where I have created a jungle inside.

For the front , I kept it monochrome with the color green.

I used the ‘Happy’ sentiment stamp by ‘Craftyscrappers’ and applied Twisted citron & Lucky Clover distress oxides to create shaded effect.

I also added stripes using the ‘Fun with stripes’ stamp set by Mudra and finished it off with green sparkling dotties.

Here’s the inside :

I used the ‘Critter Party’ stamp set by Mudra stamps.

The amazing Jennifer Mcguire has step by step instructions on youtube. You can check out her blog post here.

For the ink blended background, I used Twisted Citron & Lucky Clover distress oxides.

I stamped, watercolored & fussy cut the images and adhered them accordingly.

I also used a cloud stencil with Salty ocean distress oxide.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Here is the video of my card in action :
